Thoth 0.2.4: delete pages and folders, and recent pages in a new tab
Thoth 0.2.4 lets you delete a page or a folder from the right-click menu. A new tab on the desktop shows your recent pages and favorites again.
Delete from the menu
Right-click a page or a folder and choose Delete…. Thoth asks first, names what you chose, and says how many pages a folder holds. Cancel has the focus, so pressing Enter by mistake deletes nothing.
Tabs open on what you deleted close. It also leaves the sidebar, Recent and Favorites.
Your Private Space: to the Trash
A page or folder from your Private Space goes to the Trash on macOS and Linux, or the Recycle Bin on Windows. If you change your mind, put it back from there. A folder goes with everything in it, pictures included.
A workspace: for everyone
In a workspace, Delete removes the page and every page inside it, for every member. Only people who can edit see it.
If someone changed one of those pages a moment ago, Thoth stops and tells you, and the rest stays.
Recent pages in a new tab
In 0.2.2 a new tab on the desktop became empty. Now it lists the pages you opened last and your favorites again, one click away. Pages you opened before 0.2.2 show up too.
The logo and the house still take you back to your Private Spaces.
How to get it
From 0.2.3, click Update when the app tells you 0.2.4 is out. From 0.2.2 or older, install it from the download section. The changelog lists every change.
Questions
Can I get a deleted page back?
From your Private Space, yes: it is in the Trash or the Recycle Bin. A deleted workspace page cannot be restored from the app yet.
Can a viewer delete pages in a workspace?
No. Delete is only in the menu of people who can edit the workspace.
