Thoth 0.1.3: the desktop app on Windows
Thoth 0.1.3 brings the desktop app to Windows. It comes as an installer and an MSI package for 64-bit Windows, and it guards your Private Space the same way it does on macOS and Linux. Claude Code in the Agent Hub works on Windows too.
Thoth on Windows
There are two downloads: the installer (.exe) for most people, and an MSI package for managed setups. Both are for 64-bit Intel and AMD processors.
The builds are not code-signed yet. SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher: choose More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
The same care for your files
Every file in your Private Space is opened step by step from the folder you chose, so a path can never lead outside it. Symbolic links, junctions and mount points are reported and never followed.
Long paths work. Names Windows cannot store, such as CON or a name ending in a dot, are refused when you create them. A file whose name was written on a Mac is still found.
Claude Code on Windows
Thoth finds Claude Code from its own installer, WinGet or npm. Each run is held in a Windows job, so Cancel, the time limit and quitting Thoth end every process the run started.
Show in File Explorer opens your Private Space folder.
How to get it
Open the download section on your Windows computer and the page offers the installer by name. The macOS and Linux downloads are there too. The changelog lists every change.
Questions
Does Thoth run on Windows on ARM?
Not yet. Only the x64 version is built for now.
Why does Windows warn about an unknown publisher?
The installers are not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so SmartScreen does not know who made them. Choose More info, then Run anyway, once.
